Gunnar Dedio is a documentary film maker and founder of Looks Film Productions. In our interview he talks about personal memories and non-national ways of commemoration.
In the documentary series “14 – Diaries of the Great War” Dedio, together with researchers, archivists and writers from all over the world came together to tell the story of the First World War through the eyes of those who lived (and died) in it.
Based on archive material, diaries and personal stories, the documentary describes the fate of 14 individuals during the First World War.
Mr Dedio will be participating in a panel discussion with Prof Alan Kramer at 8pm on Tuesday, December 16th, 2014.
